It was really interesting watching this geopolitical debacle from Canada. There was no room for an alternative perspective in public. The similarities between the American willingness to invade Iraq and Russian willingness to invade Ukraine are uncanny.

Both Canadian TV networks did a fantastic job of outlining this geopolitics for Canadians. They presented both sides fairly, finding well spoken analysts to give facts and perspectives. In the end, Canadians agreed to support the war Afghanistan, but not Iraq. To this day, I think that was a reasonable decision.

These decisions will never be easy. But if we can talk things through, we should be making better decisions.
