It's been kind of interesting watching the evolution of Medium thought over the past few months. More Medium contributors are coming to the understanding that the "other side" cannot let of their errant thinkings because they stand to lose their community, which has been their source of friendship and support. It is difficult to make such a change. So it's not about right vs. wrong. It's more about avoiding social isolation.

And those of us who believe we have the "right" thinking also need to be aware of this same psychological force might be affecting us.
