I've been a supporter of UBI for 45 years, when it was known as "Negative Welfare." Everyone gets a welfare check!

My only concern is that UBI should be introduced slowly, starting at about $200 a month. In this way, the economy is not shocked severly. People on the low ends start making better life decisions.

When the UBI reaches $1000 a month, we will have a vastly improved economy. For example, managers will really have to manage well if they want to retain employees.
