I've been here since 2019. Medium is indeed a left-wing forum. Since 2008, I've been on 10 forums to promote my alternative democracy. Comparatively speaking, Medium is the best for civility and enlightened discussion. But we could agree that there is room for improvement.

As I have became wiser (hopefully), I am seeing conservatism being less able to defend itself--with logic and rationality. There are not many conservative voices here because these voices cannot stand up to the rigors of logic and rationality that some of the more thoughtful Medium contributors can provide.

As for Mr. Trump, every once in a while he does spew something worthy of future discussion, but he seems unable to further the discussion. Other times, he spews nonsense or vitriol. Sorry, one half-right does not make up for nine wrongs. He should have never been a viable candidate in the first place. But the fact is that he was and still is a viable candidate is a sign of how broken American democracy has become.

Should I mention again that I am promoting an alternative democracy?
