I've been on Medium for 32 months. Not much money or recognition for my alternative democracy.

I have recently conducted a mass-writing experiment on Medium. Results are in this article:

Unfortunately, only a very few of us are going to find reasonable financial rewards on Medium. Use Medium as part of a balance of life, not to get rich or famous. These things could happen, but the odds of winning the Medium lottery are small.

I would take out the Kofi and Member link. To me, it looks like the author is desperate. I haven't bought anyone a coffee.
