Despite the better education and awareness Medium readers may have, they too are reluctant to leaving an obviously sinking ship.

And I'm not asking anyone to jump in icy waters. Building this alternative democracy will take only about 10 hours a month.

If we don't build it, that's when they'll feel some icy waters.
