I've got a few of these stories myself.
In meetings, I have a tendency to cause eyeballs roll inside out. "Dave is overthinking things again," is one comment I overheard after a meeting.
Not really. I only identify a possible problem, then find a cheap solution before the problem happens. Unfortunately that kind of thinking is not welcome.

In the future, there will be psychologists at technical meetings to ensure the technical people are not suffering some kind of collective mental illness.
I’m starting to believe the popular self-help industry has hand in these disasters. They told us to think positive. And cast out the supposed naysayers.
