John: I actually pulled a quite from Pirsig's book to introduce one of the later chapters in my TDG book.

There is another force that I am seeing. The system has inculcated into people that they are indeed powerless-----OR-----if they really want change, the system gives them instructions.

For example, I've probably encountered 50 articles on Medium on abolishing the electoral college and using popular vote to elect the president. Small chance this is going to happen. And even if it does, not much is really going to change. If there is such a thing as a DEEP STATE controlling the levers of power, it has probably fostered this EC into popular discussion.

Building the TDG is doable with most people. One need not travel outside of their neighborhood. One need only spend about 10 hours a month. One must talk to neighbors and work with them.

There really is nothing stopping people---except their feeling of powerlessness.
