Kerry: I used to be an avid reader of the Economist. Probably 4 hours a week for about 6 years. I recognize that it did shape my thinking.
When I started Medium, I could see that most contributors spent less than a year, then quit. Most of my 844 followers are gone. I don't regard this number as a reliable statistics.
I already have about 30 Medium cheerleaders who have told me "Go ahead and build the TDG, Dave. Call us when it is done." I don't need claps. I can't justify spending a lot of time on Medium for just claps. The ultimate goal is TDG workers.
I will curtail my Medium activity to mostly commenting on comments from my articles. If
I have an inspiration that be polished in an hour or two, I will put it in. Longer inspirations will be cast aside.
Three Medium contributors--Garry Janosz, Francesco Rizzuto, and Scott Tarlo have written positively about the TDG. But I don't think they read my book yet.
