Last week, I attended an online sociocracy conference. Quite interesting: this group was not trying to whitewash some of the challenges sociocracy is facing. It is a system that is "under development."

Several times, I encountered presenters who seemed to not like procedural rules or constitutions. They had a belief that we all could solve our differences by talking things through. I don't think that is always going to work--and we need rules to reach a decision.
