I should admit that this work did got me thinking. It got me reading the Bible for myself.

I thought he was just another errant Christian prophesier, who made a whack of money.

With this article, I now see him as a true charlatan. He did not have the writing skills to put together his books. I wonder how much his ghost writer earned. And his life did not mirror Jesus in any way.

I saw him on preacher TV about 20 years ago. He was a mouthpiece for the Republican Party. Not much Christianity in those sermons.
