Like all things in life, this particular church is probably shades of grey, not black or white. Some members will be quite judgmental if they knew the true life of Dillon. Others might be more circumspect with their analysis, understanding that they might not have the full story. And others will try to welcome Dillon with open arms, knowing none of us are perfect.

Dillon is a true person in my life. He was not easy person to be around. But I was always amazed at his church attendance in our home town — even though many in that congregation were judgmental. Away from the home town, he could attend and not face that judgment. He made sure people did not know much about him.
