Thank you for your interesting response. But in early 2016, I was one of the few people who realized that Mr. Trump had a reasonable shot at being president. But I also thought that his base would slowly evaporate as his political incompetence would eventually produce real-world results. I was WRONG an that account, wasn't I.

That being said, I think all of us need to grab some humbleness at being political fortune tellers. I have written an article on this, but Medium did not seem to like it.
