Lots of "food" for thought.
Lawns look great. And they are great for kids to play on. Other than that, there isn't much purpose.
My sprinkler system quit working, so I've been watering my small patch of lawn by hand. In this heatwave, I have found that I only need a few minutes a day to keep it green. In other words, most of us are overwatering our lawns.
Here's an idea. Why gather seeds of all these plants and put them in one package--and put an instruction book together. Have the homeowners replace their lawn with these seeds. This will be an interesting transformation.
