Lots of good math here to make a point. Comparing 1955 to 2023 shows how much many of us have been losing ground.

We should also compare 1925 to 1955 as well. Despite being the roaring 20's, most people in that time lived mostly day-by-day. There wasn't much disposable income.

For some strange reasons, economic conditions allowed the middle class to grow after WW2.

Basically society is structured with the 2% elite, 13% supporters of the elite, and 85% proletariat. I see this pattern so often in history and even today in many nations.

The USA in 1925 was pretty close to this ratio.

The USA--and the rest of the west--is going back to this ratio. It is the natural human order.

If we don't want this order, then we have to change some things----------like replacing western democracy for a better democracy.
