Mastodon has been abuzz with Project 2025 in the past two weeks. I think it's a matter of time before it becomes public knowledge.

I first heard about Project 2025 from a former writer of Politically Speaking (can't quite remember the name, Karen White?). Six months ago? A year ago? Not sure. But I went to the 2025 website. It did not take long to figure out this was a manual for an oligarchic government.

The Heritage Foundation has been around longer, maybe two years. It was taking names of avid supporters, suggesting these people could get high-paying positions in the next government.

I would still like to know why the left-leaning media have been not reporting on these websites. They make the future Trump administration look really bad. I can see corporate interference in CNN and MSNBC, but why has PBS been ducking this story? So much mystery here. Another reason to build a new democracy.

And Mastodon has also been hard on the The New York Times, pointing out their slants and omissions. They were actually turning missile strikes in Kiev as a sign for Ukraine to surrender.
