Maybe.
Many Republicans are seeing the possibility of a one-party state in the future. Their demoographic will be in charge if this happens, which is better than democracy. Right?
If the USA gets to this one-party state, the party just might flip to addressing climate change.
Right now, denying climate change is just a tool to get that one-party state.
