Maybe I should pull those bits and pieces together, but to get my usual 15 reads, it is not worth it.

From how I see things, today's China regards any territory it had held in the past 3000 years as part of China--sort of like how Russia views Ukraine.

While today's Siberia has many Russians, the indiginious people are more closely related to the Chinese than Europeans. Many of these people (who are sending most of the soldiers into Ukraine) probably would not mind a replacement of their ruling class.

Mongolia is an artificial country. Russia forced this country into existence--as a buffer state. Otherwise it would be a province of China.

The Russian military is now proven to be ineffective. It would be easier for China to invade Vladivostok or Sakalin than Taiwan.
