I never heard of you before but I’m from Canada. I only occasionally dip into Foxx and CNN to see what the ‘merkans are doing.

From your resignation, you seem to value community politics as prerequisite to bigger politics. In 2016, the USA was offered two choices who had little experience in community politics.

If you want to change this, may I suggest you take a look at Tiered Democratic Governance. Neither Mr. Trump nor Ms Clinton would rise very high. And a person need not be able to raise lots of money to rise high in this system. Any rise is because of great performance at the lower levels.
