Mike, we have talked before.

The USA might be too far gone to escape a period of oligarchy. Or it just might bumble along with its horse-and-carriage democracy for another decade or two. I don't know.

But either way, it is time to consider alternatives.

I have recently read a book from a prominent political scientist. Unfortunately, I don't see much of a solution from these academics. They seem to want to keep the same kind of system in place:
