Moving piece.
I was thinking that the government could save a lot of money by firing all the speechwriters--and have ChatGPT craft the speeches that "need to be said."
I can't recall much of the "Hinkley" story. But I will bring up the Ford Pinto fiasco, where the Ford executives calculated that fixing the gas tanks would be more expensive than dealing with a few lawsuits of people burning to death. I have to wonder if the railroad company did a similar calculation. Or did they just hope and pray their trains don't derail?
Either way, we need regulations.
