Mr. Trump earned most of his 2016 62m votes on his own merits. The Russian interference might have given him the edge (and the Russians probably knew they find that edge), but the fact is that Mr. Trump was a viable contender for the job--just as he was in 2020--and will be in 2024.

The whole electoral system is at fault. One does not see people like Umair and others offering solutions to fix that.
