While even a few dollars is a validation for my work, I have a bigger mission than trying to pay the rent.

I joined Mastodon a few days ago. I'm still learning the ropes, but I made enough dent in the learning curve that I can start a "campaign" tomorrow. I will use Mastodon to move readers to my Medium articles. Because these readers come from "off-Medium," I don't think I will be paid. But that is of tertiary importance.
