My political crystal ball (which hasn't been 100% accurate) says the USA will undergo some political violence after 2022 or 2024. People will lose lives because of politics.

Whether the current order can bring this under control is another matter. I won't predict on that. But the possibility of a one-party rule is there. And that one party will rule for about a decade. They will rule incompetently enough that many of their supporters will finally cast them aside. Another revolution is likely. Sort of like how the French did it.

The near term history of the USA is probably already written; we just don't know what that history is. The question is what kind of system will be in place after that history has been fulfilled.
