My political experience from 1986 to 1992 gave me some insights in why we are so frustrated with political process. After some pondering, I came to the realization that the institutions of the political parties is source of all our dysfunction. If I were to put this in simple terms, the parties prey on the fears and superstitions of the people to get votes. As long as the predation continues, the masses are not going to be educated where they can see the bigger picture.

And then more pondering led me to a system of government where political parties are not only unnecessary, they are shunned.

That was the making of my first version in 2000. Second version in 2004; third in 2009. In 2016, I thought the rise of Mr. Trump would mean the world might be interested in a new way. So I rewrote the book again.

For the past two years, I have active on quite a few internet forums, trying to promote my TDG. On some forums I have met some interesting people who have a good understanding of our fall, but are not willing to work towards preventing it. In February, I gave up on internet forums.

But in April, I somehow came across Medium. It was different, and here I might find my audience.

I’ve posted about 35 articles on Medium. I have not been happy with the exposure; the algorithms do not regard me as a serious writer yet. And I have to say that Medium contributors are generally better writers than I, so that is a good reason for my work not to be displayed very much. And even if I had the exposure, I still might not find my audience of “workers”.

Part of the predation has been to inculcate into the masses that the parties are the only way to govern democratically. I have an uphill battle.

I have four more articles to post, which should be done by the end of the week. I am now into my “flagship” articles. I could get lucky, but I’m not expecting much. My first two flagship articles got 2 reads each.

And I have another way to promote the TDG, but it requires the time I have been spending on internet forums.

So just a few more days here.

One nice thing about Medium is that articles seem to be active for a year. (Other sites had a two-week exposure before being relegated to the archives). So I will check back once a week to answer any inquiries. But there’s no trying to build a fan base or waiting around for the algorithms to accept my work.

I should say that the reading here is excellent. I have learned quite a few new things. But the time taken away . . . . . .
