My political philosophy has four points:

1. There are situations for governments to let citizens to make their own decisions and live the consequences.
2. There are situations for governments to take collective action to better society.
3. The balance between #1 and #2 should be done by due democratic process.
4. All decisions must be monitored and modified as needed.

Tiered Democratic Governance will find the right people to determine that right balance.

Getting back to this article, putting our faith into any celebrity is not going to get us where we want to go. Even if Ms. Warren or Mr. Sanders wins the presidency, she or he will govern a country that 40% of the people hate her or his guts. That’s a problem!

Americans need to put faith into themselves. Or maybe just 1% of Americans need to find this faith.
