My thoughts are to try different marketing things out. If they don't work, try another way.
In 2018, I gave a Facebook marketer about $1200 to market my TDG book on FB. They did a fantastic job of creating memes and getting a few people to the website. But no penetration. But I'm still glad I had spent the money. Otherwise I would still be wondering about hiring the professionals.
Last year, I printed out 50 books and sent them to political people across the USA. No response. About $500 lost there. But I'm no longer wondering.
$30 sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I would try something like that for three months.
All these costs may sound high, but they are still far cheaper than hopping a plane to New York or wherever to knock on doors.
