My wife and I like watching videos of Andy Stanley, a preacher from Atlanta. He has a rather unconventional perspective on Scriptures, in both the Old and New Testament. He offers insights many can take back to the regular life--even without being "true believers."

The "inner Moses" was so appropriate. We do need to find that internal leader inside of ourselves, rather than rely on someone outside.

I have used "our inner dictator" in one of my Medium articles. I have a mechanism for helping to turn him off.
