My wife is Christian, I am not. But I sure like listening to sermons from Andy Stanley. He has a way of making Scriptures relevant to non-believers. He is also quick to advocate that Christian laws are for Christians to follow, not be forced on everyone else. This article supports this philosophy. And maybe when most Christians understand that, Christianity might become a leading moral force in our crazy society.

My take on the Superbowl halftime show is that people got paid a lot of money to perform in that way. Sensuality was necessary to get the gig that effected an exchange a few million dollars (probably more than that). And in that way, it reflects on the state of our society when too many of us cannot switch channels.

I think we need a different way of challenging society when its morals are not leading it to a better place. For that, I don’t have a good answer.
