Nice idea. Unfortunately, the TDG is not ready for governing, even a small city like Saskatoon.

There will be new ways we have to learn.

One of those ways is a consultative decision making. Maybe 5% of the population has this attribute down reasonably well. Trying to make consultative decisions while 95% prefer current ways is not going to work (in a consultative way).

Rather, some of the 5% need to build the TDG. In this way, they will be unfettered to enhance their consultative skills and MORE IMPORTANTLY create a culture of consultation for new members to join their TDG.

Building of the TDG will require at least four neighbors to start things off, at the local level. No need to wait for a majority.
