My only quibble with this piece is the American suburbs. It will take a century to undo this piece of inefficient social engineering. It's not practical to tear down houses just to incorporate the Nordic model of neighborhoods.

And it's going to take time to change the political structure as well. But not a century.

We have talked before. I have an alternative system of governance that goes beyond the Nordic model. In my opinion, the USA needs to leapfrog past that model on onto something even better.

However, people with first-hand Nordic experience might be able to see this "TDG" can work.
