Nope, the score is 3-0. Russia cannot score three goals in the next five minutes.

Maybe if the war is not finished by November 2024 and Trump wins the presidency, I can see a draw. Possible, but . . .

. . . Russia might not last until November 2024. It is destabilizing internally. Sending military resources to Africa means a lower ability to handle the internal unrest.

Having said that, there is a cost to the west for this war. I was not surprised that it found ways to do without Russian oil. But I was surprised that it found ways to find more natural gas to replace the Russian production. LNG's require more infrastructure than oil.

If you have been reading the four writers that constitute the above article, more and more military stations in Russia are being torched, often by elderly Russians who don't want their grandkids go to war in Ukraine.

BTW, I read an interesting article about Niger. The writer explained how Niger has been supplying France with uranium, unfortunately in a colonial way (still), which has led to the current unrest and a broken supply line. It's hard to see how Russia can turn this political change into a profit to bolster its war in Ukraine.
