Now that was an interesting response. I kind of knew what "avant-garde" meant, but when it had no context, I couldn't find that right definition. So I went to the dictionary.

"Leading edge" is a good synonym. Except I have been leading this edge for 27 years--and not much to show for it.

I often wonder at the young people who should be mad as hell at the old people for giving them broken system and telling them it works well.

Any ideas on how to find the young people who really want to change things?
