On a recent Medium thread, I was using the example of the medieval Moravians (the "eastern" Czechs). They constituted 80% of the population in their territory, but were governed by Germans and Poles (if one wants to use "oppressed" to express this relationship, it would not be wrong). If we could go back in time and tell these Moravians that in the future, they would be having more say in their own society, they would say something like "That's impossible." But today, the Czech Republic is a reasonably well functioning democracy.

I have run into a lot of "The TDG is impossible" on Medium in the past 30 months. It's very strange that the signs are all there for a serious attempt for a one-party rule in the USA, yet there the system that spawned this condition is still held in such a high regard that it only needs minor tinkering to fix American democracy. I don't understand this paradox.

One thing is for certain. If I am the only one working for the TDG, it won't be built.

In the past couple of months, three Medium contributors have written articles about the TDG. So that is a good start. These fellows are pretty good writers and thinkers, but they have a lower number of followers than I have. I did not see any tangible results from their recommendations to investigate the TDG.

Maybe there is someone on Medium willing to take on a journalistic challenge to break open this new concept of governance.
