Here’s my summary of their response to a working poor person who can’t afford health care insurance and gets sick or injured: “Fuck him.” From my anecdotal experience, you are in a minority of conservative Christian thinkers.

You still seem to disparage the Canadian model. It works quite well. Of course, we have the advantage of starting this system in 1969 when the world was a lot simpler. For sure, the USA will suffer some economic dislocations if it ever changes its byzantine system of private health care.

And I often wonder at the illogicality of preferring big insurance corporations “controlling” our lives as opposed to government “controlling” our lives. The first is good, the second is evil. I don’t get it.
