On another internet forum, I made friends with a fellow from the UK, of the left-wing persuasion. He was pretty convinced that this Corbyn fellow was going to lead the UK to better times.

I said, "There is no political messiah! We average people need to build a new democracy."

I'm still in contact with this fellow. I'm not sure what believes in, but he is still not interested in a new democracy.
