On one hand, this article is well written and explains the points for further lockdowns quite well. On the other hand, the article fails to take into consideration the good points made by the other side.

The Spanish flu killed 50m people. Covid-19 seems likely not to kill 1m people. Just because Covid-19 is more infectious and more lethal than the regular flu does not make it the same as the Spanish flu.

Shutting down the economy will indirectly kill a lot more people than Covid-19. Sorry, a lot of people need to work for both financial and "purpose of life" reasons.

Sweden seems to have taken a more liberal approach. Put the facts out there, and let people make their own decisions. Yes, lethality is higher. But the country is not dying off.

But I am amazed at how many people refuse to wear a mask. A small inconvenience to prevent others from catching the illness.
