Once again, you have introduced some interesting concepts. There indeed may be a new political force rising that can decide elections.

I went the Biden-meet-the-civic-right-leaders videos. I'm not convinced the gaffe at 1:14 is as critical you make it out to be. I guess I'm more forgiving of small errors in writing and speaking.

But I backed the video to 1:05 or so--and watched. It was sad. I saw a president who seemed to have been forced into hiring quotas. Then he had to defend his decisions for his choices. His tone was too confrontational and forceful than what I had seen of him being more statesmanlike. This was strange because he was talking to people he was supposed to be allied with. The 10 minutes or so that I watched shows a clear pattern that could not be attributed to gaffes. I'm not sure if there some subtly racism happening or a political leader is behaving as if he feels boxed in.

I don't have the background that led up to that style for that meeting; maybe there were good reasons. But the fact that Mr. Biden had to go there is not a good sign.

As I am writing this response, I am recalling some of skills as working cowboy many years ago. Cows require a bit of cow psychology to herd properly. A cowboy can rely on cows like being with other cows, even when being herded. Usually cows behave in a gentle way.

But when a cow is scared or injured, that cow is more susceptible to attack than being herded. A 1000-pound cow versus a 200-pound man? Even a 200-pound man on a 1000-pound horse is a good target for a cow who feels the need to fight.

Mr. Biden's tone in this video clip reminded me of such a cow. The cowboy needs to step back for a while.
