I too was wondering about the change in tone of Mr. Biden's approach. My hypothesis is that the power people in Washington are sensing an abandonment of Mr. Trump, so they are now more "political free" to challenge MAGA. Except this group is more likely to go another messiah than to rethink what they have been thinking.
