One of the great regrets Mr. Chomsky may be having is that he wrote a book in 1988. It became very popular and still is today. Yet all his influence did not change the direction of the nation he was "advising." If anything, the USA went in exactly the opposite direction. It must be hard for one to accept at having all these opportunities which did not influence anything.
