One of the more interesting apartments I saw was in Brno, a three bedroom unit. The husband was a model railroader. He had tracks two meters or so above the floor throughout the unit. Probably 10 trains in all, complete with models of train stations et al.

I could say that it must have driven his wife nuts, but the tracks were not interfering with any household functions. Almost worked with the household attributes. Control panel in one small corner of the living room.

At least he was not sitting in the pub!
