One of the requirements for the building of the TDG is for the early builders to stay away from trying to resolve current political/social issues. The focus should be on building a new electoral structure WHILE learning the process of consultative decision making.

As these two features mature, the TDG will come to a more unified vision and eventually advise the current political institutions — who may or may not take the TDG’s advire. The early TDG builders should not assume they can quickly take the TDG to that state in a short time. There are institutions that need to be built and new things learned — mostly by getting experience.

I remember watching a documentary on the Occupy Movement. Very organic and nebulous, but still had a certain political agenda. We know what happened to that movement.
