Our current systems have neither long-term thinking nor can dedicate resources to meaningful change. Our elected representatives are too busy fighting fires.

This is why the TDG will have to be built outside current democracies. We also need to build the skills in TDG governance and wait for the appropriate time to "take over."

Voter reforms, selections processes, and multistage elections are all on the TDG's radar for electoral reform.

Challenging party power, well, the TDG won't have any political parties.

An aristocracy would be, in my opinion, a step backwards. While TDG will find capable people for TDG governance, the TDG jobs will not be forever. Neither can TDG representatives pass these jobs to their progeny or faction members.
