People should spend a day or two job shadowing a teacher. It is a hard demanding occupation.

Recently, I volunteered as a high school basketball coach. While I coached the team, the phys-ed teacher did all the behind-the-scenes administration for me: Uniforms, games, legal stuff, gym time, etc. I thought he put more hours into this team than I did.
