Prayer is a bit of a mystery to me. Short sessions are my preference, just enough to get one grounded to a point where we are reminded that we are not the center of the Universe.

But some of my co-religionists believe in long prayer sessions. For me, the law of marginal returns comes quickly. A few could go for an hour or more, especially with an audience.
