Probably a lot of truth here. As a former political junkie, it hard for me to understand why other people did not take their politics that seriously. I think many political writers on Medium do not have this understanding.

For sure, many non-voters probably have a clearer vision of how western democracy really works than many political junkies.

I've often said that the political parties fear the non-voters the most because if they do come to vote, it won't be to vote for something but against something.
