I've made quite a few Medium comments about our current state of democracy. I've always believed that USA could survive even another four years of Mr. Trump; there still is a significant resiliency in place--and he really is not that smart. And there are advantages to giving him another mandate, but I think his recent photo-op kind of wrecked that possibility.

And I have stated a smart populist figuring how to make a coup work could also come from the political left. Unfortunately, the "thinkers" in this forum cannot see these points.

A couple years back, I reread Asimov's Foundation series. In several places, he prophesized that democracy has a shelf life of about three centuries before it falls in on itself. Hmmmmm.

Anyways, I have an ulterior motive to be on Medium. I was a political insider for six years and slowly realized its dysfunctional nature. Somehow I invented another system of democracy that address all this dysfunction--and have been trying to promote this idea for 23 years. Medium is my most recent online activity. I've been here a year! I enjoy the strong writing and interesting perspectives. But I'm still an echo chamber of one.

My latest attempt is to show average Americans it really is not that difficult to build this new democracy with a novel, which is my first attempt at fiction. You can find Chapter 1 here:

Mr Foksal and I had some discussions on putting into the Non-Conformist. We couldn't come to an agreement.

The current pub--Politically Speaking--has some popularity, but more importantly, it is accepting of more artistic forms of political expression. I've been kicked out of a few other political pubs for my ulterior motive.

Chapter 1-5 are already up. Chapter 6 in about four days.
