It took a lot of violence to beat Hitler. My crystal ball says the USA is heading for a period of violence. "Beating them" might be the solution. But it seems strange to me that few are asking "How do we prevent this situation from manifesting itself again?"

If USA survives (with lots of violence) and still retains its current version of democracy, this situation will happen again.
