Rather than put all the blame on those demographic groups you alluded to, I prefer to see this issue as a failure of western democracy to plan for the long term.

It is the system that needs to be changed out. The people will change later.

If you cannot spend three hours to read my book, then I would say you are only a little more enlightened than the rich guy with a $500,000 RV travelling across the USA getting three miles to the gallon. The current system will maintain this wasteful activity as a god-given right.
