Republicans, however, are even claiming voter fraud when going head to head against each other in the primaries.

I predicted that eventually there was going to be a lot of infighting within the Republican Party. All political parties are internally dysfunctional, even when they appear unified.

Mr. Trump was only a man for the times. His style would have been laughed out of politics in 2004 and 2008. The USA changed enough to give this man the mantle of "viable contender" in 2016 and 2020. A significant demographic of the USA would prefer a Republican oligarchy to a democracy. These social/political force is not going away soon, even if Mr. Trump ends up in prision or passes away.

Somehow the USA got to this condition. The USA needs a system where it does not get to this condition.
